So far the most popular empanadas are chicken, steak or ground beef and ham & cheese. There is a kid's empanada, a beef, and onion version made with mild spices, also very popular and popping up in lunch boxes all around town. Jackie recommends keeping your freezer stocked with empanadas because all you need for the perfect impromptu party are "an empanada and wine".
