Real Estate Stalking

I love when I visit someone’s house and the interiors match the style of the owner.  As in the case of this elegant home.  Its contents are as stylist as the lady of the house herself.  I was orinally fixated on the idea of the two dining room tables, which lend themselves to the intimate yet opulent feel of being in a 5 star restaurant.  Once I toured the rest of the rooms, there were just so many gorgeous areas that I knew you would love it!  Bon Weekend!!!

Merry Christmas

Christmas Morning Breakfast

Since I host Thanksgiving, Christmas becomes mainly about my husband and three children.  We always have a special breakfast, after the gifts are opened.  I usually make some kind of casserole for us to share.  I search and search the internet for a new recipe weeks before Christmas morning.  I like to set the table so that it looks merry and bright.  I found this French Toast casserole that was labeled “THE BEST”.  I cannot wait to try it and see what my little elves think!  Happy Cooking!!!

Best Oven Baked French Toast
adapted from All Recipies

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, melted
3/4 brown sugar
1tbs ground cinnamon
12 sliced sandwich bread
6 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 pinch salt

Coat a 9X13 inch baking dish with melted butter.  Spread any remaining melted butter over bottom of dish.

Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over melted butter.

Arrange bread in two layers over brown sugar mixture.

Beat eggs, milk, and salt in a bowl; pour over bread.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Baked until golden brown, about 30 minutes.

The Ultimate Christmas Wish List

If I was in charge of the North Pole, I would put each of these luxurious presents under YOUR tree.  When all the shopping is done, it is nice to dream about what eye candy we would buy for ourselves.   So sit back and relax, and imagine how you would style these beauties in your own wardrobe!!!

Book Club Monday

Last week I was lucky enough to be able to meet the elegant India Hicks.  She spoke about her life in gorgeous Harbour Island with her husband and 5 children, her designer father, David Hicks and her Godfather, the Prince of Whales!  India herself modeled for Ralph Lauren, was a bridesmaid in the Royal Wedding of Charles to Diana, wrote 3 lifestyle books, is an accomplished photographer and the list goes on and on.  Her latest book Island Style is as gorgeous as India herself.  Yet, the most exciting recent news is that she has recently introduced a line of luxury products sold exclusively by her “ambassadors”.  You can learn more about India and her amazing products HERE.  I am so happy to announce that India has graciously agreed to be on my radio show in January.  I cannot wait to sit down and chat with this lovely lady!!!  Happy Reading!
