Rosie Quick (b. 1989 in New York, New York )
Quick’s work seeks a reflective and thought provoking experience drawing upon her own experiences. Her work is inspired by her love for the outdoors and the simple peculiarities of every day life. In 2012 she received her Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art, focus in Painting, at Boston College. In 2014 Quick received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she was a recipient of the SAIC Distinguished Scholar Scholarship (Merit Scholarship). She will begin her Masters of Fine Art at The Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, this fall. Quick has shown her paintings through the Artist Association of Nantucket, where, in 2012, she was accepted as the youngest artist member in its time.
